inspired him to pursue his dream of owning a winery, offering themselves as resources
Jim and Rothelle Page released their first vintage in 2000 with
the winery's signature Cabernet Sauvignon.
Production has grown from the inaugural 200 cases to 2500 cases today, and includes a luscious Syrah and a delightfully crisp Sauvignon Blanc.

The winemaker is winemaker Carol Parsons.
Carol and Jim Parsons began their passion for wine in 1982, when they opened a retail wine and cheese store in Seattle.
With a group of seven friends, they made their first 50 cases of Red Sky Wine in their Bellevue home in 1999.
In 2006 Gretchen Michaels joined the team with her artist talents, recent wine industry experience and business background .
Also in 2006, Red Sky hired independent consulting enologist, Erica Orr , to assist in the delicate art and science of wine making. Today, Red Sky is predominantly a woman run winery producing about 1000 cases

After graduating from the University of Washington in 1997, Ross spent time traveling the globe and its winemaking regions. His travels from South America to Europe opened his eyes to varied winemaking perspectives to pair with what he's learned domestically.
Having worked for DeLille Cellars in Woodinville and Rosemount Estate in Australia, he spent 9 years as assistant winemaker to Bob and Cathy Betz at Betz Family Winery. To complement Ross Andrew Winery, Ross along with Sheila and Ned Nelson started designing winemaking equipment in 2002,
pioneering the only domestically manufactured commercial-grade basket press (visit CarlsenAssociates.com ). They also design pneumatic Punch-down equipment for both small
and large wineries
Their philosophy is that great wines are grown. They select grapes from the Columbia AVA

The winery is owned by winemaker
Paul Shinoda. Saintpaulia Vintners was built in 1993 on land adjacent to an 80,000 square foot commercial greenhouse known as Shinoda Floral, Inc. The winery's name was taken from the botanical name for African violets, Saintpaulia, which was the floral's specialty from 1970 to 2002.
Paul began commercially producing Cabernet Sauvignon in 1994. Saintpaulia Vintners' mission is to produce age-worthy Old World Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery's first vintage, a 1994 Cabernet (released Fall 1998), was produced from Blackwood Canyon Vineyard's grapes that were grown on Red Mountain near Benton City, WA. This site is considered by many to be among the best in the state for Cabernet Sauvignon.

In1998, Tom Campbell, one of Washington's winemaker originals teamed up with his nephew, Bijal Shah. Their first label named Darighe is an exquisite Bordeaux-style blend that is considered the flagship of the collection. The second label, a hearty 100% Merlot called Maghee was followed by the Dussek Cabernet.
