The Columbia Valley AVA is shared by  the two States Washington and Oregon. The majoroity of the land been in Washington. It is a very large growing region with 11 million acres of land in total. The Oregon region is 185 miles wide and 200 miles long stretching from The Dalles to Milton-Freewater
