All but one of these wineries falls into the Lake Chelan or Wenatchee regions. It stands alone as being the most northern winery in Eastern Washington,  it is however, still south of the famous wine growing regions of Canada's Okanagan *

Okanogan* Estate & Vineyards was the first winery in this fruitful valley to open in the United States, it is located in north central Washington, just 5 miles south of British Columbia, Canada on Hwy 97.  A second tasting room is located at 633 Front Street, Leavenworth, WA The winery's former name was Gold Diggers Cellars.

The winemaker is Michael P. Buckmiller. Wines include Gewurztraminer, Pinot Grigio Chardonnay and Merlot. They also produce Late Harvest and Icewines.
